Logfile from 1Q-Shel-DF
Ven's Fish Hut
A smallish building, temporary in nature, situated close to the docks and the fishing boats thereof. All four sides can be partially propped open in the form of wide windows that allow the air to flow through. Despite this, the heavy scent of fish lingers in the air, especially if Venlynn has returned from a fishing trip recently.
Cleavers and knives of all sorts hang on pegs, while shelves of jars and pots of all sizes cover the low shelves. A table centers the room, obviously its main feature, while a wooden chest sits in the corner. A note board hangs on the wall with specials of the day for visitors to look at or leave their order.

Venlynn pages: I guess it wont be so bad in about a year, it will be paid off.
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel chuckles "Heh I should deal with bills tommorow.
Venlynn pages: Its one of those things you try to put off as long as you can.
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel noddles "Oh yeah, been putting it off long enough already
Venlynn pages: Anything interesting going on in your life?
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel shrugs "Not much aside from being entirely too busy
Venlynn pages: Busy as in fun busy or work busy?
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel shrugs "Mostly work busy, but been fun busy as well what time I ahve had off of work
Venlynn pages: Have you been healthy? Everyone seems to be getting sick.
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel nods "Yep, been fine, but I don't get sick often at all
Venlynn pages: Well thats good. If you did get sick though I would have to come and take care of you. Just as long you did not pass along your sickness to me. :)
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel laughs "I think Mass is a bit far to drive to just take care of somone who is sick.
Venlynn pages: But what if you were REALLY sick? Wouldnt you want me to come over and take care of you?
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel hmms... "Nahh.....
Venlynn pages: Stupid thing, i hate being booted.
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel chuckles and snugs "I think comp's just do it to see people's reastions
Venlynn pages: Ecspecially annoying when doing bills..

Aemergin vanishes for the HUB.

Aemergin lucas jumps to the ground with relief

Venlynn looks around the corner of the door as the young man peers in. "Hello, and who might you be?"
Venlynn pages: What was that guy's name?
Aemergin says, "hi! im Aemergin"
Shel glances up fromher spot floping a fish around in her hands getting herself rather slimy.

Aemergin walks in the hut and loks around
Venlynn pages: Yep, he sure is.
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel snickers "Actually he's still around, he paged me to rp not more than a week or two ago
Venlynn pages: Did you?
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel shakes her head "Nope, wasn't going near the guy, heh although someday I will just to see if he's improved any.
Venlynn smiles over at Shel with her little fish. She loves to be slimy. He turns back over to the young boy. "So do you have a name?" he smiles over the counter at him.
Aemergin turns around and asks "me?"
Venlynn pages: Shel you heartbreaker!! Maybe he likes you. *smooch*
Aemergin blinks
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel snorts "Someone like the tomboy messy Shel? heh
Lucas pads over to a pile of fish entrails and sniffs at the stuff
Venlynn laughs lightly and nods his head. "Ive known this young lady since she's been knee high to a firelizard, so it must be you." he laughs shaking a fish in one hand, trying to steady it.
Lucas sneezes and walks away
Aemergin chuckles at the dat
Venlynn pages: Oh great, this one sniffs entrails.
Shel glances towards one of the firelizards perched about, most likely one of hers and scowls "I was never knee high to a firelizard" she protests weekly.
Aemergin says, "oh! um, as i said, my name is Aemergin"
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel laughs "Least he isn't attacking us.
Venlynn pages: If he picks up a cleaver you're on your own!
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel grins "Sure... heh haven't leared how to do holds at work for nothing...
Aemergin he bows slightly and smiles
Venlynn pages: same here but none of my kids ever had fish cleavers. :)
Venlynn pages: He's bowing...should I clobber him with a packtail?
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel laughs "Heh, true... altough I did have a kid hit me with a flashlight tonight
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel laughs "heh....
Venlynn looks over and grabs a nearby packtail and slowly raises it in the air above his head.
Aemergin looks at the fish
Venlynn pages: I'll try not to hit him too hard.
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel absolutely rolls
Lucas looks up at the fish and standss up on his back paws, reaching for the fish
Shel sets the fish back down sliding it down the table towards Venlynn before picking up another from the pile next to her.
Aemergin looks at the feline and says "its not for you, get diwn now
Venlynn brings his arm down with a crash and slams the packtail onto the table. With lightning speed he grabs a cleaver in the other hand and brings down onto the helpless fish. With a look of victory the head comes off and Ven sighs a sigh of relief.
Lucas looks at Aemergin and drops back to all fours
Venlynn pages: I missed him!!
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel awws... "Shoulda hit the cat
Venlynn pages: I hate cats!!
Aemergin jumps back with surprise
Lucas runs away from the table and out the door
Lucas leaves for the docks.
Venlynn pages: LOL LOL LOL we scared him!!!!!!!!!!
"shells!" Aemergin exclaims, looking at the man
Aemergin eyes wide open
Shel follows suit not two seconds after Venlynn picking up the slightly smaller version of his cleaver and brings it over her head slicing it down towards the fish on the table cutting off the head of the fish in front of her sending the head flying with a slight jump towards the floor.
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel snickers and rolls
Aemergin says, "!"
[SB] Shel whistles innocently and hides the fish entrails.
Aemergin looks at the two rather surprised out of his wits
Venlynn calmly plucks the packtail pieces off his shoulder and looks back at Shel. "How you coming along Shel? Whats wrong Aemergin?"
Aemergin says, "um.. um... i think i will leave now!"
Aemergin backs out of the door slowly
[SB] Robert: Hrm?
[SB] Shel blinks "nothing?"
[SB] Jalana: Ummm . . .
[SB] Venlynn: LOL Fun in the fish hut!!
Aemergin says, "um.. nothing! nothing at all!"
Aemergin says, "bye!"
[SB] Shel points towards Venlynn "He started it...."
Aemergin leaves for the docks.
Venlynn glares over at the little boy. "Dont you want to stay and help?" a small glimmer is in Ven's eyes.
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel absolutely rolls.
[SB] Jalana hides behind Robert.
[SB] Venlynn: LOL we scared a newbie away!!!!
[SB] Shel: we were just doing our job?
[SB] Venlynn: It was Shel! As Ven hides the cleaver behind his back.
[SB] Shel hides her cleaver behind Ven's back and points with the free hand "It was Ven!"
[SB] Venlynn: Its 1:40 in the morning Im tired!! Send the newbies to my hut!!!
Shel glances towards where the boy dissapeared to and shrugs as she tosses another fish onto the table taking the cleaver down in a bit cleaner cut severing the fishes head in front of her.

Venlynn looks over at Shel....proud as can be!
[SB] Venlynn: He even disconnected!!! LOL
[SB] Shel laughs "and he disconnects, I hope we didn't scare him too much.
Venlynn pages: That was too much fun!! If I were near you Id give ya hug just out of the enjoyment of it all. LOL

Venlynn pages: I was surprised he came in...what if we had been fooling around?
Long distance to Venlynn: Shel laughs "Newbies, don't know about private rooms, they assume anything they want to walk into they can
Venlynn pages: Well I'll tell ya what, if he does it again we will give him something to read. ;)

Venlynn pages: Well dearie I am getting nowhere with the bills and I am tired. Thats a good idea, you could send it that way. Thanks for doing that. I will look for ya later...bed calls.
