To accompany their own song Shangri La, the band covers the Kinks and ELO songs of the same name, and the Shangri Las classic Out In The Streets. Whilst the cover versions are interesting enough, it is their own song that stands out here, sounding like a less abrasive Manic Street Preachers with a noisy guitar solo of Pete Townsend simplicity thrown in for good measure. |
