Vivid Confusion (CDS) Bambini
This may not be Girlfrendo quite at their best, but even Girlfrendo slightly off target is still miles better than most bands could ever dream of. Having said that, the nursery rhyme pop of Vivid Confusion is as poppy and infectious as you would expect, but it is let down by the comparative weakness of the two accompanying tracks. Level 5 is a pleasant but inconsequential instrumental noodling, whilst the cover of Walking With Jesus never really gets off the ground.
