if you use AIM: press F3 or go to My AIM at the top, then find "Edit Options" and click Edit Preferences. Then find Expressions on the side (the white part) and click it. Then click on the button that says "Browse PC" and find & choose the icon that you should have saved onto your computer. Click "OK" and it should work.

if you use Yahoo Messenger: press ctrl+shift+K or click on "Messenger" at the top then "My Display Image." Then click the button that says "Select..." and find the icon that you should have saved to your computer. "OK" it and it should work.
