Frequently Asked Questions About Vegetarianism

As a vegetarian, I am often get questioned some common questions, doubting the morality of being a vegetarian. Is that ok eating animals? Is there's so little effect to one small man that gives up eating meat?
Brothers and sisters, from now and on we will know what to answer these people! And no longer should we shame, or get embarrassed by interrogation of murder sponsors.

Claim: Meat is tasty. We should eat it.

Answer: Would you eat other humans if human meat was tasty? Would you eat excrement if it was tasty? You shouldn’t eat animals just like you wouldn’t do the things above. If you are willing to eat other humans then you are a murderer anyway, no need to convince you on the justice of vegetarianism.

Question: Are you a psycho? Do you really think that vegetarianism is a part of a better society? That the vast majority of the world, who are meat eaters, are murderers?

Answer: I am well aware of the existence of good, nice and honest meat eaters, and cruel vegetarians. I am not hiding the fact that Hitler was a vegetarian. But compassion usually walks with compassion, and when you give up such enjoyment as eating meat, you will also be less likely to do other harsh things for personal gain.

Claim: Those animals are dead anyway. You are not helping anybody by not buying their meat.

Answer: Buying this meat means supporting the murderers who brought it to that shop. You are not only supporting murderers, but also pay them salary! You shouldn’t do that. Also, buying them is supporting the humiliating conditions they live before going to our plates. These abuses should not be accepted. Also, as there is a small, but notable minority of vegetarians, it causes shopkeepers, restaurateurs and people who design events with meal to bring vegetarian rations, at the expense of meat. Our presence saves innocent animals!

Claim: “You are losing” (in a meal when you refuse to eat the meat).

Answer: You are losing too when you pay for your food instead of kidnapping little children and bake them for free. People have sacrificed for justice much more than meat in the plate.

Question: How can you give up the delicacies of meat?

Answer: There are other delicacies who don’t taste like murder or genocides. Examples are Pizza, Artichoke, Spaghetti, Jahnun, Mallawach (Yemenite foods based on dough). As long as I can feed myself, and even enjoy it without meat, there is no good reason to support actions that look to me like murder.

Claim: Those animals were born to die and be our food.

Answer: Slaver kids were also born to become slaves. Is it so right? If we stop eating those animals we will let them live by their own, and they would never be born in our hands. Claim: Humans are designed to eat meat. Why should we stop eating it? Humans also used to eat each other. Humans also designed to hate, fight and kill each other. However, the morals improve as the centuries go by. Remember: humans are also designed to be ethical, and improve the ethics each age. After the end of the cannibalism, and the technological breakthroughs that allow us healthy vegetarian diet, the next stage is the end of the murder for food!

Question: Why can you eat plants and not animals? Are they not living beings? Do they not feel anything when we kill them?

Answer: Plants are considered as parts of the living beings, but they are in a different realm than the animals. They do not have a central nerve system and hence they don’t feel when we kill them, and not suffering from the horrible condition and density at the fields. Also, we should eat something, and it should be the lowest thing that can feed us. We once had to eat our fellow humans, then we started to eat animals, and now we can advance to the next age and stop eating animals. Maybe someday we won't even need plants in our diet.

Question: Your plans of vegetarianism seem to have severe economical effects. What about all those people that lose their work? Canceling the livestock farms and the farms that produce their food will shrink the economy, and eliminate thousands of work places. Your plans are the most unethical and anti social ones!

Answer: Mass vegetarianism that described in this claim is not an issue of the plate alone. It will be accompanied by social revolution as well. Take a look at the modern homes, shops, and trash cans: The modern factories need a little labor, and produce much more than we need if everybody work so many hours. A shorter working day will allow many people to fill the work places, give the masses the time to do things they enjoy and, with a just distribution of the wealth, will also not cause a drop in the general life quality, but a rise.
