1. If you have a game question, use the hints already in the game. I tried them when I was stuck and they saved me every time. If the hints don't help, try visiting Mark Seibert's website. He was one of the game's designers and he has a complete walkthrough for even the most desperate adventurers.
2. If you want the game, there are many places where it can be purchased online. Try typing the phrase "Torin's Passage" into a search engine like Yahoo! or Google and you should get at least one site where you can buy the game (I got my copy this way). If you aren't able to find a site where you can purchase the game, try searching for a torrent of Torin's Passage. However, I must remind everyone that downloading games you don't already own is illegal. I've spoken to Al Lowe regarding this matter, and he has told me that he would rather see his games enjoyed than forgotten, though his ideal setup would be a system where people paid him a few cents to download it from his site (something which VU wouldn't let him do).
3. If you have installing the game in Windows XP, try downloading the patch at this page.
4. If you have trouble running the game in Windows XP, locate the program via Windows Explorer or the Start Menu. Right-click on the game ("Torin's Passage" on the Start Menu, "SIERRAW" in Explorer) and select "Properties". Then click on the Compatibility tab in the window that appears and check the "Run in 256 colors" box. The game should run now.
5. If I can't help you with your technical problems, the people at the official Torin's Passage forum probably can. You might find that other people have had the same problems with running the game as you have, and if their questions have been answered, then so have yours! Of course, you can always register and ask for help if you cannot find the answers you need. Try the Sierra Planet Forums as well. If your question isn't answered on the official forums, it certainly will be here!
6. I am an ignorant North American, and I cannot speak or understand any language other than English. If you ask me for help in German, Spanish, French, or any language other than English, I won't be able to help you. I'm sorry, but the Altavista.com Babelfish translator can only do so much.
