The peaceful minds of the Buldada of the Ossyrian Islands have been disturbed by a strange, unnamable force. Some unidentified being uses their senses to observe everything taking place around them, then vanishes as quickly and mysteriously as it appears. The young Galactic Gumshoe, Ruby 2, is assigned the task of finding out who or what this force is. Along with the return of the washed-up archeologist TJ Teru, the sneaky Rodant Kapoor and his mother, And/Or the techie, even Ruby 1, when the devious MGMG corporation (Metro-Galactic Media Gargantuan) gets involved, things really start going crazy..

I listened to this and Ruby 3 before Ruby 1 and Tired of the Green Menace, so things were a bit fuzzy when I first listened to Ruby 2. I will say that this is one of my favorites in the entire Ruby series. I especially like Karen Young as the voice of the gentle shade of Ruby 2 (gentle when compared to Ruby 1). There has been some debate over whether this new Ruby’s name is Ruby 2 or Ruby Too. I’ve seen the second spelling in two different places, so I guess that’s the way it should be, but I happen to like the "Ruby 2" spelling better.

Another major difference in this Ruby is that the Android Sisters are not involved. I don’t really care that much for them, neither does my sister, also a ZBS fanatic. I’ve also noticed that none of the even numbered Ruby adventures have the Android Sisters (2 and 4). I have to admit that this may be another reason why I like Ruby 2.
