Mojo Sam (of the Jack Flanders Series) is on the move again, and get this -- he’s on his way back to the States! Of all places! Hired as a "piano man" for the Armadillo Bistro in Coyote, New Mexico. He meets his contact, the naïve, good natured Minnie-Two Worlds -- half Apache and half Chinese. She often talks to her perpetual companion, Scout -- an invisible spirit guide -- and Mojo quickly learns that this guide isn’t just her imagination.

Land of Enchantment finally shatters the idea that all countries except the U. S. still possess some of the magic of old. New Mexico still has got it, according to this adventure, and since the country is within the states, it makes it a lot easier for people to identify with the environment and the people. Land of Enchantment also has some Native American music and some nice westerns as well. I highly recommend this little branch from the Jack Flanders series that still retains some of the old ZBS catchiness.
