Easter Eggs and References:

There is a portrait of Elvis Presley above the Bitternuts' fireplace.

Sam and Max (the skunks) could be a reference to a Lucasarts game called Sam and Max hit the Road.

There is a programmer’s head pasted where the piano player’s should be in the throne room of Escarpa. Any ideas? I think it might be Mark Seibert.

Backstage at the theater in Tenebrous, you can hear several different music fragments playing onstage. These are Girl in the Tower (from the KQ Series), the theme song to Freddy Pharkas, Frontier Pharmacist (sung by a very corny western singer (who actually is Al Lowe himself, thanks to Troels Pleimert for pointing this out)), a neat, jazzy version of For Your Thighs Only (The LSL theme, this game was created by Al Lowe, the creator of LSL. Doi!), which ends as soon as it starts by a loud cymbal crash and Al sputtering "B-b-b-but? Aww..." and stomping offstage. All the songs end like this, it’s really funny. There is also a song from Leisure Suit Larry 6 (Cellblock Love) and Consumite Furore, the title song from Phantasmagoria (thanks to adeyke and DrHugh for helping me with these two!)

(Oh yeah -- and the last music piece is that same bad piano music from Escarpa!)

Bags Bunny is an all-too obvious spoof on Bugs Bunny.

Zippy’s line "Silly rabbit, tricks are for magicians" is a near-exact duplicate of that irritating slogan for "Trix" cereal.

In the amphitheater (after Torin gives Zippy the hat, the wand and the silk kerchief), Zippy repeatedly tries to pull Bags Bunny out of the hat...but the only thing he succeeds in pulling out is Dreep!

In the chamber of crystals near the end of the game (in Lycentia’s house), there are various characters imprisoned inside the crystals. A character from the Japanese Anime cartoon series Sailor Moon is at the beginning of the right row, and in the same row are Darth Vader and Yoda (from the Star Wars movies), Charlton Heston (from the original Planet of the Apes) the creator, Al Lowe. In fact, it’s the same photo of him that is depicted with the Torin’s Passage Team picture!

I’ve discovered a message from one of the creators of TP on a Sailor Moon website explaining why one of the characters from Sailor Moon appears in the room in question, as well as a few other questions HERE! Very interesting!

In Lycentia’s house, click the bagpipes on her. You will die, but you’ll also get a special message from Al. Yes, I know he’s gonna hate me for telling you all this...

At any time in the game, hit Ctrl, P and 2 and the game will go psychedelic (I didn’t find this myself, I stumbled across it on the net).

At the walking maze in Asthenia, you can sometimes see Indiana Jones swing out across the lava on a rope and fall into the lava. It occurs very randomly. Check out this screenshot to get a picture of it. I haven’t seen Indy crawl out yet, but I’ll revisit that screen when I can! Thanks to Pooky for telling me about this egg!

In the beginning of one of Al Lowe's post-Torin games, Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love for Sail! (a very naughty game not recommended to anyone under 18), in the beginning, when the ship is docked and the opening credits are rolling, look closely at the dock, and you'll see a couple familiar characters...unfortunately for one of them, however...well, look at the pictures to see what I mean.

In the main part of LSL7, you'll hear the ship's announcer making many random announcements about the winners of the various competitions taking place. One of the announcements he makes is "Your attention please! Slim and Slime have just won the Moat Olympics! Way to go, guys! Eye Five!" Sound familiar?

In LSL7, during one of the many times Larry makes his way back to his room, he runs into what appears to be a news broadcaster. Now, he's nothing special himself, but who's that cameraman next to him...?
